- arrest, imprisonment.
The notification must be made without delay, but no later than within 15 days, with reference to the pension registration number of the benefit.
How can a notification be made to the Pension Payment Directorate?
Notifications can be made in writing by post, in person at the Pension Payment Directorate's Customer Relations Office or after electronic identification (via “DÁP” mobile application or Client Gate + login) on the magyarorszag.hu website, after selecting "Pensions" menu point using the appropriate form to the type of the notification.
The Pension Payment Directorate does not accept oral notifications, e.g. by telephone, or notifications that are not signed in person or sent by e-mail.
Notification of change of address, change of account number
Any change of address, residence, stay or postal address or account number affecting the payment of benefits must be notified in writing to the Pension Payment Directorate, with reference to the pension registration number, signed by the person receiving a benefit (or their legal representative).
The change of address must also be notified if the benefit is paid into a bank account instead of by post.
Please note that the benefit can only be paid into a payment account over which the beneficiary or their legal representative has the right of disposal.
Failure to notify a change of address or account number may result in non-payment or delay in the payment of the benefit within the time limit. If your postal address is incorrect, you may not receive mail from the Pension Payment Directorate or certain government information mailings.
