The Securities Registration Account is a general securities account to which all the dematerialized government securities issued by the Hungarian State Treasury can be purchased, except the Baby Bond.

It is recommended to open a Securities Registration Account at the Hungarian State Treasury if you wish to save money occasionally or regularly and invest in government securities issued by the Hungarian State.

The Securities Registration Account includes the securities account, the securities custody account, and the customer account (cash account). The available cash funds of the client are held in the customer account, while the government securities purchased are registered in the securities account.

At the Hungarian State Treasury, the maintenance of the Securities Registration Account is free of charge, and additional treasury fees will not be levied for purchasing government securities.

Electronic access can be requested to the Securities Registration Account, which provides an access to the WebKincstár, MobilKincstár, and TeleKincstár services free of charge.

The Securities Registration Account can be opened at any customer service centres of the government securities distribution offices of the Hungarian Treasury or even online without personal appearance (through the Customer Gateway).

Government securities can be purchased after the opening of the account personally by visiting any customer service centres of the government securities distribution offices of the Hungarian Treasury or through the WebKincstár and MobilKincstár platforms without personal appearance.
